The entry gate of Hie Shrine (山王日枝神社), a Shinto shrine located in Tokyo downtown core closed to the Tokyo Imperial Palace (皇居), in Tokyo (東京) Japan. The day there was holding a Shichi-Go-San (7-5-3) festival day event to celebrate the growth and well-being of young children, so there were lots of kids and parents in the shrine. It became the tallest structure in Japan in 2010 and reached its full height of 634.0 metres (2,080 ft) in March 2011, making it the tallest tower in the world, displacing the Canton Tower, and the second tallest structure in the world after the Burj Khalifa (829.8 m/2,722 ft).
